News and Topical issue. This Tuesday, 8 December, marked 40 years since John Lennon, perhaps the most famous Beatles member was killed. Although his death shook the whole world, his legacy as well as that of the whole band has survived until the present times, not only in the music but also in pictures. Therefore, in the first feature of today’s show, we will speak about the Beatles photographer of Slovak origin Dezider Hoffmann who revolutionized the world of photography. Then, in the second part of today’s show, we will look at the Slovak town of Nitra and the innovative way it approached air quality monitoring using IoT technology.
